You are looking at Oregon set Two on FLASH DRIVE. It contains a total of 199 color images of fire apparatus from Portland's west suburbs as well as north western Oregon. Departments include Cornelius, Forest Grove, Gaston, Hillsboro, Tualatin Valley, Wash. Co. #2, Astoria, Brownsville, Cannon Beach, Clatskanie, Coos Bay, Newport, North Bend, Rainier, St Helens, Woodburn, Tillamook, Albany, Corvallis, Dallas, Halsey, Harrisburg, Junction City, Keizer, Lane Rural, McMinnville, Molalla, Newburg, Santa Clara, Scappoose, and Lebanon. Information is shown for each rig including dep't, rig #, year, make, model, and specs.
The great majority are shot in bright sunshine, while a few are taken in bright overcast. All rigs are posed carefully at the best angle with light on the front and side shot. The background is the least distracting available, with no people in the shot other than an occasional driver at the steering wheel. All photos were shot by me, Bill Hattersley, from 1985 on. The original negatives were digitized at high resolution.
