  • Condition: This beautiful piece has been worn but is in fantastic condition. It has been customized with two small hand-stitched darts (see photo) located 2-3" from the straps on either side, which could be easily removed.

    Description

    This incredibly well-preserved pale peach silk teddy has beautiful beige lace appliqued on the front of the bodice. Edges on the back and bottom are trimmed with darker 1/2" lace. The crotch closes with two small mother-of-pearl buttons. The only tag on it says "34," but the actual chest measurement is 30". Distance from center of top to crotch buttons is 25". This was part of my mother-in-law's trousseau when she married in 1936 and has been carefully stored.
